KDHC 40A Welding Machine Changeover Switch are applicable in electrical circuits with AC 50Hz, rated operating voltage up to 440V and DC voltage up to 240V, with a conventional thermal current up to40A. They are used for manual, infrequent circuit make-and-break for control and circuit conversion. They are mainly installed on NBC-200, 250, 315, 400, 500, 630 and other CO₂ gas shielded welders, inverter arc welders and air plasma cutting machines to adjust current or voltage. They can also be used for circuit switching of electrical equipment.
