Application

32A KDHC Series Changeover Switch is applicable in electrical circuits with AC 50Hz, rated operating voltage up to 440V and DC voltage up to 240V, with a conventional thermal current up to32A. They are used for manual, infrequent circuit make-and-break for control and circuit conversion. They are mainly installed on NBC-200, 250, 315, 400, 500, 630 and other CO₂ gas shielded welders, inverter arc welders and air plasma cutting machines to adjust current or voltage. They can also be used for circuit switching of electrical equipment.

Working Principle

The KDHC Series Welding Machine Switch adopts rotary cam mechanical structure. When users rotate the operating handle, the built-in cam assembly moves synchronously to control the on/off status of each contact group. By switching different contact combinations, the circuit accesses different resistance or tap positions, realizing the adjustment of welding current and output voltage.

This manual cam switching design is for infrequent circuit make-and-break. It changes the circuit parameters stably without complex electronic components. The high-quality silver contacts ensure reliable electric connection when the cam is engaged, avoiding poor contact and arc damage during welding equipment operation.

Performance Test

Every KDHC Series Welding Machine Switch undergoes strict product inspection before leaving our China factory. We carry out the following key tests one by one to guarantee stable performance for welding equipment:
